Slugs, Long Ass Jutsu Names and Arson: Naruto 634

New to Kidz R Evil will be a weekly manga review. My cohorts and I will be giving a brief synopsis of the weekly releases of the “Big Three” (Naruto, Bleach and One Piece). Me, being a lame and only reading one of the Big Three, shall be attacking Naruto this week. The chapter continues from 633 where Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke have called forth their signature summons. Naruto summons Gamakichi (side note: Gamakichi looks like a badass smoking a jack), Sakura summons her sensei's main summon, the giant slug Katsuyu and Sasuke summons a new snake named Aoda. They then implement their strategy to take down the 10 Tails, Sasuke attacks head-on riding Aoda, Naruto attacks from above using Gamakichi's jumping ability, and Sakura uses her Byakugō no In to have Katsuyu heal the ninja army. This results in Sasuke and Naruto combining their respective nature/shape transformation jutsus to create an super powerful elemental combination justu, though the extent of damage done to the 10-Tails is still unknown. While everyone is fawning over this jutsu, Sai and Jūgo both notice Sasuke's statement of “Burn It Down,” but both have no idea what he is implying. The chapter ends with Orochimaru creeping on what we assume is an almost dead Tsunade and the rest of the current Kages

Jūgo looks soooooo jealous of Naruto and Sasuke's bromance.

Overall, this chapter was cool as hell. Now that we have gotten past Kishimoto beating us over the head with “HEY, THESE GUYS ARE THE NEW SANNIN,” we can finally get into some cool stuff. Minato gives Naruto and Sasuke's combination jutsu a hilariously long name: Korin Shippū Shikkoku no Ya Zeroshiki (Swirling Gale of Light and Black Arrow), one that he quickly states is lame. I'm happy that Sakura is no longer useless, though I'm positive that she will catch a serious fade sometime soon. And what the hell is Orochimaru planning? For some reason, I don't trust him around incapacitated female bodies. Of course Sasuke has something up his sleeves, hopefully we'll see that soon. And Jūgo looks soooooo jealous of Naruto and Sasuke's bromance...but knowing Kishi we won't know what's going on until December.

Masashi Kishimoto's iconic series Naruto follows the tale of the young unlikely prodigy ninja Naruto Uzumaki and his quest to become the Hokage, essentially the leader and hero of his village. The story is rich with different cultures of other ninja clans and the evil forces that threaten their existence.
